Situated in Charente Maritime, in the Southern Cognac region, this beautiful Charente stone ‘Maison de Maitre’ is set in a tranquil, rural location 12kms from the spa town of Jonzac, yet less than an hours drive from: Bordeaux, St Emilion, Cognac, Saintes and the lovely beaches around Royan. Chez Bardon has a hectare of attractively landscaped grounds, with mature trees and a large enclosed swimming pool.
The original ‘Chai’ (wine store) and coach house have been sympathetically renovated to provide, superb, light, spacious accommodation of two and four bedrooms respectively.
Tranquil, rural setting in the second sunniest area of France. Beautiful sandy beaches, historic towns of, Cognac, Bordeaux and Saintes are all within easy reach. Local amenities include: fishing, golf, tennis, horse riding, and the fabulous water centre in Jonzac. Pets are welcome during the low season only.
